14 daleth (door)

Daleth is the path of the fertile relationship between the ultimate male principle, the perfectly manifestated energy of Chokmah, and the ultimate female principle, the great womb of Binah. It is the path of love and fertility as such, the process giving rise to the entire manifested universe.
Daleth means "door", the door between the state of unity in the Supernal triangle and the manifested states below, the gate into Spirit's harmonious Garden of Eden that seperates it from the realms of division, polarity and self-consciousness, a door between known and unknown. The Goddess of Love shown on the tarot trump can be interpreted as Eve after the Fall.
Love at this level of the Tree does not mean projection and desire as can be experienced at the level of Netzach. The love of the Empress which is flowing through Daleth is the most exalted creative imagination and inspiration (wisdom-folly) that nurtures, combines and gives birth to the archetypical ideas of Chesed.

With her hands She displays Vara-mudra and Abhaya-mudra (the mudras granting boons and dispelling fear), and holds a Rudraksa rosary, a human skull, a small drum, and a book.
Above her, within a Trikona, is Itara-Linga, which is lightning-like, and above this again, within another Trikona, is the inner Atma (Antar-atma), lustrous like a flame.
On its four sides, floating in air, are sparks surrounding a light which by its own lustre makes visible all between Mula and the Brahmarandhra.
