10 malkuth (kingdom)

Malkuth is the final stage that represents complete manifestation, the stage where things simply exist, where the energy emanating through the Sephiroth finds rest. In Malkuth everything is finally decided and put together as a permanent vehicle to be maintained with a minimum of attention. Things just happen and are physically sensed, right now. This inertia, which is a general characteristic of the physical plane, resembles the pure, self-contained being of Kether. Your personal experience of Malkuth, of physical 'reality', depends on the specific reach of your senses, symbolized by the circle of the horizon.
The Princesses are symbols of pure receptivity into form. Their marriage with the Princes born by the King and Queen invites divine power into every aspect of the manifested world. In this way the Princesses manifest the essence of each element on the material plane. No operation is completed until the process has been expressed in terms of Malkuth: If magic rituals are to be effective, it is highly important to ground and manifest the energies in some kind of physical form or action.
Malkuth is not only the gate through which spirit finally manifests as an earthly Kingdom. In Malkuth, life submits to the disintegrating influences of form and that which is sorted out dies in order that its substance may be utilized again. Therefore Malkuth is also the gate to a renewed process of creation from Kether. To highlight this aspect of birth and death, Malkuth is called the Inferior Mother with reference to the supreme formative mother, Binah.
